September, The Start Of Autumn

Hello friend! Welcome back for this month’s newsletter.

Changing leaves, cold fronts, and different flavors of coffee all come to the surface in the new season. As pressure sinks in from the holidays coming soon, we all should start thinking about what we can change in our lives. Whether that is helping out people in need, praying more for the state of our nation, or eating less.

Let’s be cheerful in this season, no matter what life decides to throw our way. Get out into nature to become more in touch with the way life is supposed to be—slow, purposeful, and loving.

Novel Updates

Hatred For Bugs is now being published with Ingram Spark. Soon, I’ll be requesting bookstores to sell copies for greater ease of availability and discoverability. My hope is that someone will see the cover and fall instantly in love when reading the first chapter.

Currently, I’m working on two completely different projects. One is a faith-based devotional journal with super cute, relatable illustrations based on scripture. To me, this project has been the longest and the most fun out of all the things I’ve written in the past. The second project involves a full series of short stories. Each chapter captivates the marvelous wonders of stories from dreams I’ve had. Mind you, my dreams are extremely vivid.

Original Mini Art

The main theme of the past month in my life was recognizing the beauty in certain places and creatures. Most people don’t pay attention to owls, octopuses, or the desert. My goal is to show why individuals should pay attention to the magnificence of God’s creation.

Book Recommendation

The Other World By Abbie Emmons

My goodness. I cannot tell you how good this book is. The author is an indie publisher who has been writing her entire life. The story is about a sheltered, loving girl who has never been to the mainland—she’s lived on a separate island her entire life. Her father does not want her to experience the horrors of the mainland and, therefore, has denied her access on multiple occasions. Until a pilot is lost on the island. I will say no more because the book is that good. I couldn’t put it down.

Final Words

Thank you so much for reading! I hope this new month brings in tons of blessings beyond measure and that things in the world start to become more stable. Keep yourself safe always!
