Summer Newsletter

Intro

Hello friends, welcome to this month’s newsletter. The world is turning into a very dark place these days. I want to be the one to tell you that everything is going to be okay. Make sure to stay up to date with current news and keep yourself safe at all times. I know that most people are trying to hide and stay quiet about injustice. But I am not. I clearly see what is going on and am not happy about it.

So, what can we do in these hard moments? First off, continue living no matter what is happening near you. It’s hard enough to hear these things, yet we cannot live in fear because of the decisions of other people. Keep writing, keep drawing, keep dancing, keep singing. This heart will not be tamed. Secondly, be aware that evil is rampant—keep on praying, keep on hoping, keep going with what you believe in, and fight for injustice. Lastly, continue being strong as heck. No one can take away your dignity and the strength that you’ve developed throughout your life.

Make sure to keep your lawn fixed as summer is a great time for growth. Go outside for a nice hike in the woods where there are no complications, and time is irrelevant. Take a deep breath and know that everything is going to be okay.

Novel Update

My newest novel, Hatred For Bugs, is now for sale on my website and Amazon. I would really appreciate any feedback that I can possibly get. As it is my first book, please be kind to me. My thinking when I wrote this book was to get others to understand that there are different cultures out there that we have no idea about. We must be open-minded to them so that we can all eventually get along as human beings. Romance and adventure are my two favorite genres. Not being able to choose one did not stop me from writing a mixture of both things.

Newest Art Drops

Most of the paintings this month came from the bottom of my heart. A lot of pain and sadness have been getting to me. From the loss of my family member to the harassment of minorities in the United States. All of it has been weighing me down greatly. However, I know that in order to produce any kind of change, I must be strong. Of course, they are for sale on my website and on Amazon.

Book Recommendation

I don’t exactly have a book recommendation at the moment because I’ve been on and off with novels since a lot has been going on. However, I do have a webtoon comic to recommend. It’s amazing! And of course, hilarious. It’s about a girl who thinks she’s hideous and doesn’t have a lot of confidence because of her family constantly judging her. Amy joins a group of individuals who draw coquis and meet up once a week. There is so much more to it, and I don’t want to be the one to spoil it. Check it out when you can. It’s called Spirit Fingers.
